Fees: Based on income/residence eligibility. Patient may bill own insurance. Mission: To promote ensure and improve the wellness of our community by controlling the spread of Tuberculosis (TB) in El Paso, Texas. Goal: Control the spread of Tuberculosis (TB) in El Paso County by prompt identification and appropriate treatment of persons infected with TB and identification and treatment of persons or groups at highest risk of progressing from latent TB to active disease and spreading disease. Screening, education and treatment services. Medication is provided to patients diagnosed with active or latent Tuberculosis. Clients diagnosed with tuberculosis are treated through Direct Observed Therapy (DOT) system. The TB Clinic provides services for tuberculosis prevention and control and through expanded outreach services to individuals of identified populations who have TB or who are at high risk of contracting or developing TB throughout a defined services area. Related education, counseling, testing for special populations and pharmacy services are also offered by the TB Program. Please call our clinic to see if you qualify for skin testing. |
